Antique Face screen in shaped maple with penwork and a painted
yellow rose to one side and painted flowers to the other. The screen has
a turned hardwood handle part painted black and part gilded. There is
wear consistent with being twirled between the fingers. Many screen
handles are tactile.
Origin: UK; Circa:1820
; Materials: maple/
sycamore .
Size: Screen 23.7 cm wide by 18.1 cm;
handle 23.5 cm long: 9.3 inches wide
by 7.1 inches; handle 9.3 inches long.
