A box in a striking combination of ash and ice-birch veneers, banded and delineated, with a carrying
handle on the top and bone escutcheon. Circa 1780
A box of pleasing proportions combining two woods rarely found on boxes, the ice birch rarely found at
all on any objects. This is the only box we have ever seen with such large panels of this wood.

Size: 18.5 cm wide by 13 cm by 11 cm: 7.28 inches wide
by 5.1 inches by 4.3 inches.
Condition: good
