Ref: 637SB: Fitted figured rosewood sewing box with lift-out tray. The box is in very good original condition. There is a document wallet in the lid.  The front of the document wallet is covered with ruched  satin silk and framed by wine colored silk with gilded embossing. The tray retains its original supplementary lids with places designed to hold sewing tools. Circa 1850. 

Origin:  UK;  Circa: 1850 ; Materials: Rosewood on pine carcass .

Size: 29.6 cm wide by 22 cm by 12.5 cm: 11.7  inches wide by 8.7  inches by 5  inches.
