Antique brass edged figured coromandel box with working Bramah type  lock with key. The box has a compartmentalized lift out tray. There is with spring released drawer  fitted for jewelry. There is also a lift out leather and velvet covered tray  suitable for storing jewelry.  Circa 1870. 

Origin:  UK;  Circa: 1870; Materials: coromandel on a mahogany structure; leather; velvet.

Size: 28.4 cm wide by 20.6 cm by 18.2 cm:   11.18 inches wide by  8.11 inches by  7.2 inches.

Condition: good overall; working lock and key; see images
