Description:
A
tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl single compartment tea caddy of
rectangular form, with three concave panels of tortoiseshell,
the interior ivory faced with ivory standing on turned bone feet.
Origin: UK
Circa: 1840
Materials:
tortoiseshell, mother of pearl , ivory and bone.
Size: It measures 5.9 inches
wide by 4.3 inches deep and it is 4.1 inches high
including feet: 15 cm wide by 10.8cm deep by 10.5 cm high.
Condition:
overall good, no lock.

Inside there is a single compartment with supplementary lid. There are
remnants of the original leading
