A Unusually Small Single Compartment Papier Mâché Tea Caddy circa 1830 
An unusually small  single Compartment Papier Mâché Tea Caddy circa 1830. 

The finely painted  floral decoration is on an opaque gold base.

The caddy is 9.5 cm high, 10 cm wide and 7.5 cm deep; 3.75 inches high by 4 inches wide and 3 inches deep.
The caddy is in very good original condition and has a working lock with key. It retains much if its original lead lining.
