Rosewood veneered three compartment tea caddy of
extraordinary form, opening like a drawer, circa 1850.
The tea caddy has tapering sides and pyramided top and stands on
brass ball feet. The front drawer is pulled out to reveal the
conventional arrangement of two lidded compartments for tea and a
central compartment for a cut crystal caddy bowl.
