very fine piqué work depicting a bee on flowers.

with gilded brass hinge and gold decoration.
Size: 2.7"x 2.1". 7.2x 5.3 cm.
Condition: Wear
and repair on corners visible when closely examined. Losses (about
half) of the fine gold lines of the top design. The engraved lines
are still visible. The gilded surface on the catch is worn in the
