Description:
SB457: Walnut veneered box inlaid with bandings of parquetry circa 1880.
A box of pleasing structure with a rounded top and original interior. The inlay is within the genre of mid to late 19th century, but it has greater complexity than the average example of such work. Working lock and key.

Materials: Pine
construction with walnut veneer and inlay in many woods
