Description:
SB126: Antique Regency flame mahogany sewing box with tapered sides and
pyramided top having turned mahogany drop handles and standing on
turned bun feet. Inside the lid is lined with ruched blue silk
framed with gold embossed leather. There is a document wallet
behind. The box has a fitted liftout tray covered in the original
blue paper and has silk covered supplementary covers circa
1815.
