Description:
JB221: A rosewood veneered dressing box retaining its original cut
crystal bottles with silver plated lids and lift-out tray with supplementary
lids covered with embossed velvet. The box has a sprung side drawer
of dovetail construction which is fitted for jewelry. There is a
document wallet in the lid and a lift out mirror behind. The
document wallet is covered with ruched velvet and framed with gold
embossed leather, circa 1840.

original condition with working lock and key
