JB216: A Regency figured rosewood box with rounded edges, all
brassbound, with liftout tray, document wallet, and mirror; the box
having a countersunk carrying handle to the top, and working lock
and key. circa 1830.

, brass, leather, and, velvet.
Size: 28cm wide by 19.5cm by 13.8 cm: 11 inches wide by 5.5 inches
by 5.4 inches.
Condition: good
overall, some scuffing to leather, and wear to original velvet, working
lock and key: see photographs.

There is a document wallet in
the lid. The ruched velvet has contrasting tasseled buttoning. This is
particular to the period.
