Description:
A shaped regency box in satin-birch and rosewood, the pyramided top
having a central panel of birch and framed by a complex parquetry in
birch and rosewood. The box retains its original gilded brass drop handles
and ball feet. Inside the box is relined with hand made marble paper and
has two later 19th c leather and velvet covered liftout trays fitted for
jewelry. working lock and key circa 1830.
