JB210: Antique box in satin-birch and ebony inlaid with mother of pearl depicting stylized birds and flora. The mother of pearl inlay is strongly executed and is finely engraved. The top and front of the box have fielded satin-birch panels framed by turned gadrooning in birch and ebony. Inside the box has been relined with hand made marbled paper. It has a velvet covered liftout tray. Working lock and key. Circa 1830.
