JB186: A rosewood veneered box, inlaid with white metal lines  and mother of pearl in a stylized flower pattern having a lift out tray with divisions and a  side drawer fitted for jewelry, a document wallet retaining the libel "Pearce's fancy Repository". The workmanship is of high standard; for example, the box is edged with a rounded piece of wood which finishes it elegantly and also protects it. circa 1840.
