Description: Antique mahogany box the top crossbanded with
tulipwood and edged with maple the inside lined with velvet and having a
drawer Circa 1900.
Origin: United Kingdom
Circa:1900
Materials:
Size: 41.3cm wide by 27.2cm by 15.2cm: 16.3 inches wide by
10.7 inches
by 6 inches.
Condition: good
overall working lock and key, the inside has been relined with
traditional materials.

The box opens up to a velvet
compartment: the lid is lined with hand made combed paper and both the
upper tray and the drawer are lined with velvet.

Detail: The box is edged with
maple and has an inlay of crossbanded tulipwood.

The lock has a push button which secures the
drawer when the box is closed.
