Reference: JB 163: Antique Rosewood Box with Brass and Ebony Borders veneered in saw cut rosewood veneer and framed in a stylized inlaid border of ebony and brass; this box is characteristic of the elegant high quality of the Regency style.
It was made by the firm of Batley, who worked in Holborn, London, an area of bespoke cabinet makers.

Condition:
Cracking on top and small repairs to inlay and veneer.
Overall good. Working lock and key.
