Description:
JB413:
Antique George the fourth period box veneered in rosewood and edged
in rounded brass for strength and contrast with the dark wood. It
also has flat brass carrying handles on both sides. It has a lower
jewellery drawer with a separate working lock and key which retains
its original leather cover and velvet lining with a ring
compartment. The top part of the box has been fitted with an extra
lift-out tray. The box has two working locks and keys. Circa 1830.
