JB315: Boulle box in brass and red tortoiseshell having a serpentine front. and engraved brass and Boulle in red tortoiseshell depicting stylized scrolling floral motifs to top sides and front. The box is lined with silk and velvet. Circa 1840.

Circa: 1840.

Size: 23.5cm wide by 17.5 cm by 11.5 cm: inches 9.25 wide by 7 inches by 4.5 inches.
Condition: good overall working lock and key.

Corner detail: the brass is finely engraved
