Box veneered in walnut and inlaid in strips of geometric marquetry of light and stained woods circa 1890. The box has a refitted liftout tray.

Circa: 1897 (dated brass plate)


Size: 30 cm wide by 22 cm by 14.5 cm:  11.8 inches wide by  8.6 inches by  5.7 inches.

Condition: Good overall working lock and key refitted tray and relined- see images.

There is an inlaid initialed, and dated 1897 brass plate to the top framed with crossbandings of kingwood boxwood and ebony.
