JB228: A small mahogany box edged with boxwood, fitted for jewelry with lift out tray (later) and lower drawer having a working lock and key circa 1840.

Size: 18.2cm wide by 13.5 cm by 15.5 cm: inches wide by inches by inches.
Condition: Good overall see images, working lock and key, old restorations.

The liftout tray (replacement) is lined with velvet .

The drawer is secured shut by a brass pin from the compartment below the tray.
