JB228: A small mahogany box edged with boxwood, fitted for jewelry with lift out tray (later) and lower drawer having a working lock and key circa 1840.

Condition: Good

The liftout tray
(replacement) is lined with velvet .
The drawer is secured shut by
a brass pin from the compartment below the tray.
