Description:
A mid 19th Century figured walnut box in Queen Anne style, the top
and base are framed with an ogee molding. The top is inlaid
with a framing of contrasting alternate boxwood and ebony lines and
crossbandings in kingwood and burr walnut. The inside is lined in red
brocaded floral cloth. The box has a working lock and key. Circa
1860.
