Description:
Antique rosewood box having inset brass carrying handles,
and inlayed brass lines to the top and front, and a
separately secured drawer fitted for jewelry. Inside the box there is a
liftout tray with supplementary lids and smaller boxes.
There is a document wallet in the lid which retains its original velvet
covering. Circa 1820
