Description:
A Georgian solid mahogany box of Pyramid inspired shape on turned
feet Circa 1810. The form is characteristic of the second phase of
neo classicism, which drew its inspiration from the monumental
structures of Egypt.
Origin: United Kingdom.
Circa: 1810.

The pyramid top is made from one piece of wood. The resulting grain pattern
is very particular. It has a rich glowing patina.
Materials: Mahogany
Size: 15.3" wide by 10.2" by 6.3" tall
including feet: 39cm wide by 26cm by 16cm.
Condition: Good
overall replacement liftout tray. Original lock with working replacement
key.
