Description:
A Box veneered in well figured walnut and inlaid with parquetry to the top and front.  Inside is the original tray  which is fitted for sewing.

Working lock and key.

Origin: UK

Circa: 1880

Materials: walnut veneer on a pine structure.

Size: 9.8” x 6.6”, 5.2” tall. 25cm x 17cm, 13.3cm tall.

The inside: There is a tray fitted for sewing. The covers  and the padded back are in purple silk.
