good. working lock and key replacement velvet lined tray. The feet
are replacement.

The lid part has a pocket for
letters patterns and papers
The box has been relined with
velvet and silk making it suitable for jewelry.

Detail of the original gold
embossed leather on the lid. The pattern is classically inspired having
a Greek key and leaf motif. This and the silk brocade give a n
extra quality and resonance.
