Description:
An octagonal shaped Regency rosewood box having tapered sides and
cavetto molding the top cross banded with kingwood and framed with
boxwood accented with embossed gilt brass drop handles and
standing on lion feet.

Condition: working
lock and key . The lining paper is stained. Originally the box probably
decorated having a print on the top. this is gone leaving behind
well figured rosewood.

Inside the box is lined with
paper The lift out tray is covered in silk. The rosewood is contrasted
with boxwood facings.
