veneered in well figured walnut and inlaid with mother of pearl and
abalone. stained. Inside is the original tray which is
fitted for sewing.

The inside: There is a tray
fitted for sewing. The covers and the padded back are in blue
silk.

mother of pearl contrasts with the darker abalone shell.

The tray is covered with a
silver colored paper. The inside of this box shows little sign of
use.
