A Regency three
compartment Penwork Tea caddy decorated all over with exotic penwork
scenes on a sycamore ground . Circa 1820.
The caddy is in good original
condition. It has a working lock and key.
The caddy stands on embossed
brass feet.
"Penwork"
is sometimes referred to as "pen and ink".
It measures inches wide by
inches deep and it is inches high including feet: cm wide by cm deep by cm
high.
